Going to provide it? Push email has been available and popular on the Treos for years thanks to software from vendors like
Intellisync ,
Consilient ,
Visto and
Good. Now there's even an open source push email solution that supports Palm OS (and most other platforms) from
Funambol.
Palm's approach differs from Microsoft's and RIM's in that they have generally wanted to cultivate an ecosystem of vendors for things like enterprise email and PIM sync rather than try to lock people into a single proprietary technology.
