Black Diamond (Bruno, Chief of Police)
Just finished Black Diamond, by Martin Walker. This is book #3 of the Bruno, Chief of Police series that features a small town Chief of Police in the French Perigord. This novel centers around illegal immigration and fraud in the truffle business, but remains mostly about people and relationships and food. These really are delightful books, very much in the the "cozy" genre, but with a quite French style. Recommended.
