I just had occasion to use Kindleunpack: The Plug-in. I'd been putting this off because when I first investigated Mobiunpack I found that it was a Python script, and I despaired of figuring out how to run Python. Then I discovered it as a plug-in, and behold! Python wasn't scary at all.
