I was all set to not buy any new books for some time, after all my Tier 1 wish list was down to 5 measly books but wouldn't you know it, one of those books is today's Kindle Romance Daily Deal.

I read the first in this series and thought the romance itself was choppy but the premise and the world building was good enough for me to give this series a bit more of a chance.

I just bought book 1 on sale somewhere in the blur of the past Kobo code shopping binge. And wait, there's that 50% Kobo code that I haven't used yet that should be expiring any minute. You can guess the rest.
