I've tried a few clip on lights but found that I prefer the Kandle. I've got the original kandle in white. I haven't used it much in the last year since getting the paperwhite but I recently picked up a Nook simple touch and kobo mini so I've started using it again. I just ordered the kandle 2 in black as it will match the nook, I can keep one in my bag for when I'm out and keep one at home. I've also lost the tool that came with it for opening the back to change the battery so thought a new one was also in order.
I like the fact that the kandle has 2 settings and it fills the screen quite evenly. My original kandle has 2 lights and works well with my kobo mini. I think the 3 lights on the kandle 2 will work better with the bigger screen of the Nook.
