I'm been reading Ike and Dick : Portrait of a Strange Political Marriage by Jeffrey Frank. it is surprisingly sympathetic to Nixon versus the picture it paints of Eisenhower.
I did enjoy the quote from the Alsops comparing the atmosphere surrounding the McCarthy-Army hearings to the atmosphere in Berlin following the Reichstag Fire.
