Eh .... I've already managed to have my thumb on my right hand ripped off ... so, I can say with authority that there is a lot of blood when that happens. They managed to reattach my thumb as well, they said I would have reduced mobility and numbness ... they were wrong on that count, although my grip is maybe a little weaker in my right hand as a result.
And ... what your late mother in law's idiot neighbor did was seriously stupid. I will admit that my action with respect to my table saw was not quite on that level of stupidity, it was still pretty damn stupid.
Although ... I do now have a nice base for my miter saw. So, I guess it's an ill wind .... and all that stuff.
