When I first heard back they asked what I'd like and I requested they fix the book. Just got an email stating they would try to do so, but since they couldn't guanrantee it would be fixed soon they are issuing me a credit.

Even though it can still take a few days to hear back, I am finding Kobo's customer service of late to be much improved than from a few years ago and again from when Rakuten first took over.
