Amazon lost money in 2012, and made a few million dollars in 2011. It is a *barely* profitable company...and profits are paid on a company's profits, not its revenue.

Maybe buyers of Amazon's Kindle and e-books should worry though... What happens to your wonderfully cloud stored e-books when Amazon goes bankrupt? What the use of your "locked to Amazon's format" Kindle?
