Wie wäre es denn mit Paul Auster - Die New-York-Trilogie? Da hätten wir dann gleich drei Geschichten zu einem Preis.

Oder vielleicht John Updike - Die Hexen von Eastwick oder Julian Barnes - Der Zitronentisch eine Sammlung von Kurzgeschichten?

Edit: Der Zitronentisch ist zu jung, aber da findet sich sicherlich noch was anderes von Barnes, den ich auch schon immer mal lesen wollte.

Ich bin da etwas erschlagen von den Möglichkeiten.
