I was - of course - going to post a ticket for you as well, but the reasons for posting here are stated in my initial post.
Your suggestion is of course valid, but it really does not address my main concern (which might likely be of concern to others here): do we just keep doing this over and over? My warranty runs out in about half a year, and if this happens again, then what?
If you feel this issue is better addressed in private, fine, let me know, but...
I am not having a go a you personally - in my experience you are one of the good guys - but surely you can see my point too?
