I hope they can recover from the body-blow the Nook write-downs are giving them. I think it's a good sign that they did lower the price, though. They recognized that something was wrong and are moving on. So that's encouraging.
Admittedly, it is about the only bright spot. The worst (for me) would be is if they come back with an Windows RT tablet. Nothing I have will run on those, so I absolutely wouldn't be buying one. I don't think this is likely, though. They'd have to redo their entire ecosystem.
