I have 2 tablets already (google and apple) so I'm not interested in the Nook HD\+ but now that they have opened it up to the google play store it becomes more future proof.
I am not a fan of the nook STR, but I picked one up at the Radio Shack sale for about $20 (US). I'm keeping it as a backup in case anything was to happen to my 650. Yes I could replace it if something happened to it and I would. But I may not be able to right then and there as I might not hae the money to do so. So having a backup is better then not having a backup.
