Before switching you should try Mantano Reader out I find it excellent I'm using a light blue background and put my own selection of fonts on it (pretty much all the good reading fonts), I'm still using my Sony for most novels but I have read a few on the Nexus with no complaints just because it's so much easier to put a new book on, the Mantano software I really think is great I wish sony's was half as good.
That said if LCD's bother you or you read a lot outside go for e-ink.
