Certainly not, butting in to express my own personal opinion. Saddam needed to be deposed to save the lives of Iraqis. But doing so militarily with no hard evidence of WMDs and unilaterally was unforgiveable, in my opinion. It was done against the expressed opposition of most other countries and with such an arrogant cowboy attitude ("you're either with us or against us") that it made me (still makes me) sick. On the other hand, it did not help that many other countries made their usual lame attempt to stop violence and oppression. They each stood and said to Saddam in a clear yet stern voice "Stop! Or else I'll have to say 'Stop!' again!" Very helpful indeed.

Oh, god, is this another post I'm going to wish I hadn't posted?
