So, if I'm understanding your post correctly, all that you did was change the Portuguese (lang code: por or pt) language articles of speech to the Brazilian Portuguese (lang code: pt-br) equivalent?
Sorry if the question seems obvious. Just making sure I understand why you made the change since this might be of use as a permanent addition to calibre's article of speech tweak.
