It can go either way. Sometimes I buy a book and later it goes on sale. Half the time it is still in my TBR pile and I think "Wish I had waited."
But then there have been books on sale I think I don't want/need that one. And later I really do want to read it and think "I should have gotten that book while it was on sale"
And then there's the "I knew I should have gotten that book when I had a good coupon code" times.
