what is "near beer" ? is it anything like "the blue one, near the beer" ? is it "whatever is in the bottle in the immediate proximity of the beer" ?? like, you can't decide, but you don't want beer, so you tell the bartender "give me something that's not beer, but that is near the beer" ?
