Well, the HD+ doesn't show up as a disk drive on Windows 7 (forgot to mention my operating system, too. It's been awhile since I had to ask for help). It shows up as MTP (I think I have that right), which might be part of the problem. Is Kindle Fire the same level of tablet the Nook HD+ is? Because Kindle Fire shows up in the drop-down box on the plug board. Also, the Nook Simple Touch uses the Nook Color protocol, there is no Simple Touch in the drop-down box. Yet the series info gets transferred to the title on the NST. My preferred series input is the same for Nook 1st Edition and Nook Color (or NST). Only the device is different in the plugboard.
Maybe this is something the developer of this particular plugboard could fix. It would be lovely to have.
I tried the Save to Disk Option, and Calibre doesn't recognize MyNook as a valid folder. Probably because the computer doesn't recognize my plugged-in HD as a disk drive.
