I'm reading through the thread...as a new Kobo owner, I haven't seen the answer to the question I have. When I saw what this update can do I turned my wifi on. It's been over an hour and the"sync" is still going on. This is the first time I have had wifi on since I initially set up the device last month. I saw it was sucking down the battery so I plugged it in to the wall.
My question, how long does sync/update take, and is it ok to leave it plugged in while syncing (and presumably updating). Also do I have to DO anything or will it automatically apply the update?
