I agree with you. My Mini has need a factory reset only when I've loaded a firmware in a bad way (beta testing has its risks). My 350 needed a factory reset only when I loaded a FW with mistakes (I made my own custom PRS+). Aside of this, all my readers (Booken, Sony, Kobo) have been a well behaved devices
