Oh you are in for a treat! Make sure you stick your head into the Project Gutenberg collections (gutenberg.org), they have a lot of "raw" texts particularly with historical content. While these are sometimes less lovingly scanned and formatted, the Mobileread Library texts often stem from there and receive restoration and formatting efforts from caring MR members.
