I just had my first Tim Hortons' coffee in about 2 1/2 years. I'm trying to avoid caffeine while nursing but I had a terrible headache today, and coffee really did the trick! I will try some electrolyte replacement drinks to see if they quench my thirst, it is never-ending! I know that I need to take more liquids whole nursing but I've been drinking 4-5 litres everyday since perhaps month 2 of my pregnancy, and am still always thirsty. I did try a few sports drinks at one point but they didn't seem to help much, perhaps the sugar content was too much for me. I generally only drink water, tea or coffee, and have done so for the past decade or so.
