Note for GeoffR regarding the summary in the first post:

my Mini got the update to 2.6.1 but in sleeping mode there is still the banner on the top of the screen and even though I'm reading a kepub there's no time left displayed. All I see is the former screen: a banner, the percentage read and "sleep mode".
I don't have an epub ebook at hand to try it.

Can someone else with a Mini can confirm that please?
