I have already signed up at Amazon.com for author alerts, but I've never received anything [and missed a few new releases as a result].
Ereaderiq only notifies price drop, not new releases but I still made a list there.
Amazon.ca, you can't do it there [boy we Canadians don't get the perks .com people do!]
I am hesitant to try at Goodreads because it sounds like a monthly thing and that a bunch of recommendations will have to be sifted through [on second thought, is that a good or bad thing?!

I just tried making an account at authoralert and it wouldn't let me because it said it couldn't verify my email address, when I tried again it said that email was in use and waiting for verification.
I used a yahoo addy, didn't think that would be a big deal. Oh well.
