Vent & Rant: random school violence and threats of violence. In December schools in Coeur d'Alene,where several of my grandchildren attend, were closed for a day because the fear and rumor levels were so high the kids were afraid to go to school. Now this morning Princeton University, where another granddaughter is a graduate student, is evacuating due to multiple bomb threats. I am so sad and tired.
