How common are bright specs? <--- fixed for JSWolf

Really??? Are you sure about that?

Maybe if you had read the entire thread you would know that when I first posted the issue I DIDN'T understand it was a defect in the light layer and not a pixel pixel stuck off and hence my title. As the thread evolved I was better educated by some of the more polite folks on the board and only a few posts above this one said as much.

So - anything of value to contribute to the discussions?

Yes - got it - bright spec, not stuck pixel.........
