If Sony can make a deal with PVI/Eink and get their screens at 100 dollar. Then put it in a plastic case with only usbconnection, relatively slow CPU and 100MB of internal memory, with no upgrade slots, mp3 and you got a machine that is cost effective half the price of the PRS505.
Sony could sell those at fabrication price and boost their ebookmarketshare. Just like how they did with their game console.
