Hi Everyone,
I found an ebook with .lit format.
My ebook reader cant read .lit, also there was a line break every 3-4 words.
So I opened the file in Calibre, and
* converted it to epub
* unpacked the archive
* changed 30 000 <p>'s and </p>'s to nothing
* replaced every <span></span> ( every one of each was empty ) with a single <br />
* re-packed it
*put in my ebook reader ( pocketbook touch )
The origianal epub ( unmodified ) loaded fast as always.
The modified versions take MINUTES to load.
Why?
(filesize il almost the same )
