Thanks for your help. I found a much better PDF reader for my Kindle Fire than the one from Adobe. It's called qPDF Viewer and it's free. The file I was trying to read was part of the Hugo reader's packet and I have the password. The problem was that the adobe reader left the printing very small with lots of blank space and no way to adjust it except page by page. Ugh. I still can't read it on an eInk Kindle, but at least now it's not such a PIA. Thanks again.
