However, too much of a good thing is still too much. You can only have so many mental bonbons (aka romance novels) of one flavor at a time. So a break may be a good thing! I certainly didn't read them all at once.

Oh I will read it I just needed a break. Anytime I am reading a book that doesn't have much lightheartedness in it I need to read something else after a couple of books. I have to purge those negative emotions so to speak or I will start looking at the story from the wrong perspective.
I am half way through Hell On Wheels by Karen Leabo.
I just love books with road trips in them. There is something about putting the main couple in a vehicle for a couple days and seeing how things go.
