So someone at work has decided to screw with my Kettle. It is used by at least 6 or 7 people in the common kitchen. This morning I found soap in it, a large amount of soap. I washed it out but it probably would have been bad if the water heated up and the soap bubbled out while the kettle was in use. Later I go in and someone has hidden the base. So now the kettle is under my desk, I cannot use it in my office but I can use it in the kitchen. So when I want tea, I have to bring the kettle and my tea pot.
I am a bit miffed. I am guessing it is a practicle joke gone bad but do not f*** with the tea kettle. It is expensive and stupid stunts like the soap one could have caused far more serious eletrical problems. What the hell is wrong with people.

I VERY much sympathize. How annoying. Is it a rule that every office has to have at least one jerk? It certainly seems it sometimes. What could they possibly think was funny about that?
Ah, well. Peet's Pride of the Port in my cup, but it's just about empty. Hmmm. Must be time for dinner and single malt. Not necessarily in that order, or those units.
