Friends used to tease me about my bitching about right-handed world... until I invited them over to my house and had them try to cook a meal using left-handed tools. Watching Camille try to ladle soup using a left-handed ladle spilling soup all over the stove... or her husband trying to use a left handed can opener... Eye-opening for both of them. Then, trying to measure out ingredients with a left-handed measuring cup, or flip burgers with a spatula that was turned in the wrong direction... But the real kicker came when I asked Rob to measure a cardboard box using a left-handed tape measure, watching him twist and turn his head trying to read the upside down numbers.... Hysterical! Then we all got drunk.
But they never teased me again...
Might as well have a second glass of rum. I won't be drinking tomorrow night.
