Try this version. After asking about updating the URL, if you click no, it will offer to add it as a new book. I just don't see this happening enough to justify making a special skip/update/add dialog box for it (instead of using the built-in yes/no box.) |
I just ran into 10 different stories that were all different stories. That was five cases of an author using the same title for different stories. That didn't include the instances when the author seemed to have submitted the same story twice. So it seems to be happening more than I would have thought which is why I asked about it.
I tried the new version and it didn't even ask me about duplicates. It simply downloaded all the stories. When I tried to download one of the stories using its FFN version afterwards, it refused to download the story and gave me this error:
More than one identical book by Identifer URL or title/author(s)--can't tell which book to update/overwrite.
