You don't actually need reviews. The lamps are good. If you get one that takes a bulb, you get to choose if you want CFL or LED.

I have one of their LED lamps clipped to my headboard and I use it to read in bed sometimes. Works very well and the light shines directly on the screen.

The table lamp I have in the living room I changed the bulb to give it a little bit more light and it's now perfect for where it is.

It's a matter of do you like the look of the lamp? Is it the right size? Does it use the type of bulb I want to use?

If all of those are a yes, go for it. You won't regret it. Ikea's lamps are good. we have three different styles of Ikea lamps. A clip-on LED lamp, a table lamp and a floor lamp. All are very nice. No review was needed.
