Kindle Display Compatibility

Anyone know if the 6" displays from older Kindles would work if hooked up to new Kindles? ie do the E-INK screens use the same connectors?

As far as I'm aware, these are the model numbers for the displays:

Kindle 2: ED060SC4
Kindle 3: ED060SC7
Kindle Touch: ED060SCG
Kindle 4,5: ED060SCF(LF)
Paperwhite: ED060XC3 (LF)
