Just finished my first 5k race since High School. It was a fund raiser for my son's summer camp. Finished second place for my age group behind the guy that placed second place over all.
My nine year old ran too. He did great. I went back after finishing and ran the last 1/4 mile leg with him. He came in around 43 mins. Really proud of him. His first race ever and he really tried hard. Neither of us actually trained for it through... ops.
