Whom to contact at Onyx International for M90 mainboard replacement?
I need a new mainboard for my M90. I'd like it to work, honestly - while the M92 is faster, has better firmware, better battery life, and is easier to use in direct sunlight, I did spend $400 on the damn M90 and would like it to work because the capacitative keys are silent.
How ought I to get such a mainboard? The American Onyx Boox reseller is less than useless, and I don't want to send it overseas to be repaired in Europe or Asia because that expense becomes too ridiculous. Can I replace it myself? Are there firmware loading and screen calibration tasks too complicated for me? I am looking for contact information for Onyx International and a survey of what knowledgeable folks think might be a likely response to an inquiry.
Any comments?
