I used to do that collection management on my Kindle Keyboard, 1 book by 1 book. Your Keyboard is going to be slower than a newer kindle, and certainly slower than your Kobo Mini, which has a faster processor!

I don't manage collections 1 by 1 anymore, thanks to Calibre! It's extremely fast and easy to manage them all instantly by plugging the device into Calibre! I wouldn't want folder management, if using that involved the 1 book by 1 book method.
