In theory I went to bed a couple of hours ago ... but couldn't sleep anyway, then the dogs got me up, and here I am back on MR after 4:30am - just as well tomorrow's Saturday ... sorry, that should read today's Saturday. Hmmm... Anyway, to the point.
I don't know that the paper version needs a different blurb, but that additional paragraph reads okay to me, perhaps if it was placed distinctly separate, maybe even in a different font.
The choice of name is very much your choice. A possible advantage of going with shorter version is that it allows a bigger print on the small e-book cover images. I think that Becca may be a little more distinctive. (I was about to hit post when the additional thought occurred that Becca sounds perhaps like a child might pronounce Rebecca, but I can't quite work out whether that's a plus or a minus in this situation ... that could be lack of sleep.)
