And this is for sideloaded ePubs. For kepubs, the slider only moves you within a chapter (which makes navigating within a kepub to a specific page very tedious).
While I really like the chapter progress and pages/screens per chapter for kepubs, it seems to me that Kobo really needs some method to universally reference page numbers. Maybe follow the epub/ADE standard.
