You spelt Cthulhu wrong, and there are two more mistakes in your first sentence. That might be what puts people off buying it, assuming they are attracted by the cover image.

Publishing corporations won't be interested until you sell a lot of copies, and they won't look at anything else unless it comes from an agent. If you sent it to agents they would skim-read the first paragraph then decide if they were interested or not.
