Actually, it was one of the best times to sell, given that the stock has plunged substantially since then and hadn't gone down hardly at all when she sold. She is far richer than she would have been had she waited. The only time that would have been better was right before Jobs' illness was announced.

If I'd been wise enough to make the same mistakes she did, I'd be able to buy a condo in certain areas without touching my other savings.
