Welcome to MobileRead. This is such a great place to hang out to talk about books and reading on electronic devices. I see that you've listed your laptop as your reading device. What format books do you primarily read? Are you mostly reading for work or school? Or do you use your laptop for recreational reading?

I bought the Kindle and Sony Reader solely for recreational reading. Got the Kindle in mid-February and the Sony in early August. So far this year I've read 41 books on the Kindle (7 since getting the Sony), 2 books on the Sony, and 51 paper books (37 since getting the Kindle; 5 since getting the Sony), for a grand total of 98 books in 2008.

Now how does someone from the Philippines wind up with "Y'all" in his vocabulary? Were you reared in a part of the USA where that is commonly said?
