I cant agree more with
bjkel, eInk is not the be all and end all of ebook readers. Well, not unless it gets several orders of magnitude better!
DDHarriman thanks for your two cents worth. I started the whole thing at tablet pc's, but the weight/heat/batterylife issues were just a bit too much for me still. But, I'm keeping an open mind. They are v.tasty.
Thanks again to all who've posted their opinions. I think I'll be checking out the eBookwise in the very near future (gotta find a way to buy a new one in Australia...otherwise, ebay here I come). And in the long term, I think I'll go drool some more over at the UMPCportal.....
