Thanks. Yes, the 3G Kindle Keyboard without Special Offers was still available last time I checked, but it's $159, which is more than I want to pay, and don't want to buy off eBay. In the end I decided to go with the path of least resistance. I'm keeping the Paperwhite.

Better and worse are specific to everyone's personal experiences and needs. The Paperwhite may be prettier, but I do a lot of my reading on very crowded train commutes, and I prefer the KK's a bigger frame to hold on to, and the buttons which I have found very easy to use one-handed. But the PW has other advantages, which are what drew me to try it out, so I'm moving on...
