Its certainly not an issue with the Kindle, I've had my Paperwhite since September and I love it,

I was worried about this when my first few pin pricks appeared which is why I swapped it for the Simple Touch, at only £29 it was a bargain. I''ve ordered an m-edge case for it as I already have their light.
