REAL was an eye opener for me on what some women (Mostly young girls) will overlook in a guy as long as he's sooooo hot.

There has always been a bad boy thing in Romance and I love reading Romances with Bad Boys but there is a line where the Bad Boy becomes an Evil Abuser. I think Travis from BD came very close to it but manage to stay on the right side of the line and I felt there was still hope for the guy to learn to control himself. I did not read Walking Disaster because I wanted to keep that Delusion. However It's all fiction so as long as people realize it's not okay to be with someone like that in real life then who I am to judge what someone reads but I am still disturb by how popular these books are and all the positive reviews.
For me REAL wasn't really abusive, it was the bad portrayal of his 'issue', and how much she just lusted after his body like a piece of meat. I didn't really get the 'love story' I'd thought it would be.

Overall I agree with you on how they're clumping 'bad boys' in with abusers, there's a huge difference. IMO a 'bad boy' is someone who's made mistakes or poor choices, abuse is an entirely different matter.
