I do not have a "Conversion" entry on the "Preferences" button. There is a "Change Calibre behaviour" entry. Then, for conversion, common options, Table of contents, there is an entry named "Number of links to add to Table of Contents" and it is set to 70.

I did that. The dialog also says "70".
Still, the output has 50 contents entries.

I don't know if that tells something, but not to me. I do see an entry "'max_toc_links': 70", yet I get only 50.
