EPUB is EPUB.
Kobo can put bells and whistles around the neck of their wondrous KEPUB, no problem for me. But I do expect Kobo to leave EPUB aside of their dubious experiments.
Respect the standard, quash the bugs. There are still lots of them. And huge ones at that.
